Asangaiso Ebong aka Iso aka the Bionic Man was just stupid this past week. Winning his 2nd Player of the Week Award for this season, my man was going to work against the Flips Squad last week. He dropped a league-leading high 38 points en route to a 17 point victory. With the trio of Iso, Rick Ross, & Iceman, the Heat are looking real serious. Their seeding does not reflect their overall power. Opponents should beware of the Heat and prepare for warfare. Win or go fishing!
Week 7: Player of the Week (Joint of the Week: M.O.P. feat. Busta Rhymes & Remy Ma – Ante Up Remix)
Kevin Duong aka Afrolicious
helped Masae defeat one of the top teams in the land this past week. With 23 points, his game was on point like his afro. Displaying his finger-roll and suaveness on the transitional tip, my man was ballin’. Masae is looking strong. Watch out ya’ll.
This is the final week of the regular season. The #5, #6, and #7 seeds are still up for grabs. Thursday night will determine the seedings. Anything can happen. Dai Ma clinches the #1 seed. You can find out more information about seedings here.

Week 6: Player of the Week (Joint of the Week: Rick Ross feat. Jay-Z & Young Jeezy – Hustlin’ Remix)
The Reigning Defensive Player of the Season, Asangaiso Ebong went to work this past week. The Heat only had 4 players, so Iso put in work as usual. He was hustlin’, whippin’ it, whippin’ it real good. Since the Heat had NO Ricky, David Bates, Nick Yang, and Randall Yee, the 1-2 punch of Iso and Jason Chan the Iceman proved to be enough to assassinate Anbu. Iso dropped a season-high 33 points en route to the Heat’s 1st dub of the season. The Heat get their 1st win just in time for the playoffs. If Iso and the Heat continue to play like this and have all their players show up, the Heat will roast cats like the Ron Popeil Showtime Oven.
Week 5: Player of the Week (Jam of the Week: AZ - The Format)
Ivan Wong/Sam Higgins (First Infantry): Ivan Wong was non-existent for First Infantry’s first four (check the illiteration) games,
but he stepped up big for their fifth game. Grabbing offensive boards and scoring off put-backs, Ivan was on the grind. Although Iso the Genius was in beastmode, Ivan had the last growl.
While facing a three-point deficit, Ivan nailed a tri-fector with only seconds remaining, tying the game at 60. Seconds later, Sam Higgins aka Sam I Am hit a game-winning jumper with only a few seconds remaining, making him the only player with a game winning shot this season. Ivan and Sam helped First Infantry clinch their 1st victory. Mighty Mighty Masae keeps their win streak alive after defeating the Flips Squad. Masae is on top at 5-0. In addition to the Flips Squad suffering their 1st loss, the Triggaz also suffered their 1st loss to Dai Ma. On the bottom of the pile is Anbu and Heat. They are still win-less at 0-5.
In other news, there's a 5 on 5 basketball tournament this weekend at M.I.T. This tournament is a charitable event to raise money for the victims of the Leyte Mudslides in the Phillipines. You can find out more information about this event at:

illest block parties every week. I ain't talkin' about a festival with amusement rides and fried dough. He's been pinning cats and punching shiz back to homeland Asia. Pretty Ricky scored a season high 25 points, along with key rebounds, and a whole lotta swats. Isiah Moore aka Moore Buckets was missing in action last week, so Pretty Rick had to step it up a notch. Pretty Rick lead his team to the W, and Masae remains undefeated at 4-0.
Kevin Woo / Victor Cheung (Triggaz): The deadly combination of Kevin Woo aka K-Dub and Victor Cheung aka Buckets lead the Triggaz to their 3rd straight win.
They were raining tri-fectors. Looked like layups for these cats. The Triggaz remain undefeated with the help from these two sharpshooters. Leave these cats open and they’re gonna smoke you.
In addition to the Triggaz, the Flips Squad and Masae improve to 3-0. Three teams are tied for the number one spot. On Week 5, Masae will face Flips Squad. Until then, will these teams continue to remain undefeated?
Also, once again, the Heat, First Infantry, and Anbu teams have yet to win a game. The Heat need to cause an inferno, the First Infantry have to rally their troops, and Anbu needs to pinpoint their next assassination victim.
Also, please note that all players must play in at least THREE regular season games to be eligible for the playoffs. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Week 2: Player of the Week
Isiah Moore (Masae): N.C.C. newcomer Isiah Moore has been tearing up the L from the jump.
Leading the league in scoring with 27.5 points per game, Isiah Moore aka Moore Buckets helped his team this past week improve to 2-0, with his shooting, and his aggressiveness to the bucket. Starting the game vs Dai Ma with only 4 players, Isiah was getting buckets and helped seal the deal in the end of regulation with free-throws. Moore Buckets: coming to a court near you.
In other news, Masae, Flips, and Triggaz improve to 2-0. I know it’s still early, but will one of these teams go undefeated for the regular season? It’s never been done, but there’s always a first for everything. On the flipside, Heat, First Infantry, & Anbu fall to 0-2. Luckily for all the teams, everyone makes the playoffs.
The powerhouse Heat lost in an exciting overtime game to the Flips Squad. The Heat’s new acquisition, one of the oldest, but quickest cats to play in the L, made his debut this past week. Mr. Ricky Kim aka I’m older than dirt. I’m just playin’ man, we all got respect for your game and hustle. With Iso, Iceman, Iron Chef Yang, already in the mix, R. Kim should be considered another scoring threat added to their already powerful artillery.

Week 1: Player(s) of the Week
Oak Nguyen (Dai Ma): One of the meanest and the cleanest.
Oak Nguyen aka Oki-One Kenobi aka The Vietnamese Jedi Master came back from his one season hiatus to herb cats on the hardwood (astroturf). He's one of the wisest and experienced players in the N.C.C. He dropped 27 pts last tuesday against the Heat and lead Dai Ma aka Big Horse to the win.
Ralphy Pegan (Dai Ma): Ralphy Pegan aka Tha Pegasus made his N.C.C. debut last Tuesday. Pegasus is from Greek mythology and it was a winged horse that with a stroke of his hoof caused the fountain Hippocrene to spring forth from Mount Helicon.
Ain't no myth about Ralphy's skills. It definitely sprung forth. Don't get it twisted either, he doesn't eat paste like Ralph Wiggum. He eats cats on the court for breakfast with his throwback moves. In addition to Oki-One's 27 pts, Tha Pegasus dropped 24 pts and helped Dai Ma to their 1st W of the season. Watch out for the tandem of Oki-One and Tha Pegasus.
Jonathan Ochotorena (Flips Squad): The reigning regular season N.C.C. MVP Ocho aka The Filipino Barry Bonds flipped the script last week. With only 4 players,
he single handedly defeated the Blaze with his 93% free throw percentage and not to mention his 25 pts. I guess 4 is better than 5 in this extremely rare case.
Our 7th season tipped off this past week, and it looks like we have some teams real hungry for that 'chip. A lot of new faces in new places. It's too bad we only have eight teams, but on the brightside, if your team goes 0-8, you can still make the playoffs. This also means there will be a new champion this season since the defending champions, the Hurricanes, are not participating.
A few announcements for Week 2. The deadline for adding, dropping, swapping, cutting, rejecting, signing, & acquiring players is on Thursday, June 22nd. I MUST receive an email notification BEFORE your game. Peep the forum topic here. After June 22nd, rosters are FINAL.
The fieldhouse will be repainted during Week 2, so we will be relocating to the gymnasium adjacent to the fieldhouse. Just look for a buncha Yellow Folks et al with extremely great skills aka J. Son.... haha just playin'. A lot of trash talkin' going on already. Peep the topic over here. Started by Vinh Bui aka Tha Vietnamese Vindicator of Masae, a lot of people have added to this thread. Come voice your opinion! We only have 5-6 members posting, don't be scurrred.
BTW: Viva La Korea!!!! Also Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there.
